Three Little Words

Published by mrschadt at 8:04 pm under Uncategorized Edit This

I believe there are three little words that can never be said enough.  One of those words is more powerful than any other word one could hear.  I LOVE YOU.

Every day, more than once a day, I let my husband know I love him.  I tell my children I love them, even when they are driving me crazy, fraustrating me, and not listening to me - I tell them I love them.

I can’t say it enough.

My husband is one who believes in showing a person love rather than voicing it.  He believes to say it often and alot takes away it’s meaning.  For some it may seem so.

I once believed if you said “I love you” over and over to a person that you were merely conviencing yourself more than conviencing or uplifting affection towards the other person.  Sometimes that may also be the case.

But I for one, like hearing my husband say those words, which now a days come few and less often.  Not because he doesn’t love me, he simply feels he showing me so he doesn’t have to say it.

I like hearing it.  It gives me that tingle up the spine feeling of joy.

I like hearing my kids say it, because I know once the teenage years come, they too will say it hardly ever.

I have never heard my father say it, but like my husband, he doesn’t have to.  It’s something that instill itself into the vibes you get around your parental hertiage.  My dad is private kind of guy, he doesn’t say much.  But with his actions he says “I love you” plenty.

Today, say those three little words to bring a tingle inside someone’s heart.  Maybe you’ve never said it.  Maybe you’ve been too afraid, or maybe you haven’t heard it enough.  Perhaps you say it often, as I do.

Say it, Pass it on, three little words - I love you.
