Constant Reminders
Every week I take my children to our local library. In the recent few week the library has opened a new children’s wing that appears to me more than just a room full of books. Indeed, it is to a child like a museum. My kids have the option of playing educational games on computers, playing with toys and puppets, reading books, playing puzzles, and viewing movies. These puzzles, movies, and books are all available to take home.
The key to all this is being able to remember when the items we borrow are due back. Like many of us, I write everything down on my calander, or thanks to FlyLady - my control journal.
We all have things that have to be picked up, returned, and appointments to remember. Without constant reminders we wouldn’t ever to be able to remember them all. Some of us use calanders, emails, and phone calls.
Yet, God is contantly in our lives. Sometimes he sends us an email. Sometimes he sends us a letter. Occassionaly, we mark our calanders to meet with him on a Sunday morning. Then there is always the phone calls. God reminds us he is in our lives, even when we forget. He sends someone to remind us.
Who can you remind today of God’s love?
