Put Down the Donut! Pass It On

Published by mrschadt at 5:58 am under Looking Out Edit This

One of the three worst foods we put in our mouths is a donut.

According to the owner of Fresh Life, a health food store, donuts consist of white flour, white sugar, and hychdradfat.  So, as you sit reading this post and induluging in a cup of coffee - PUT DOWN THE DONUT!

What you eat provides the foundation of your health.  Food has a way of impacting our immortality rate, and just one donut can shorten our lives.  Seriously!

Did you know that Americans consume an average of 172 lbs of sugar a year?

There are 166 foods mentioned in the bible.  None of them are sugar.  Actually God made proteins, fats, and carbs to be digested by our bodies.  I’m sure there was a reason he didn’t included donuts, especially the powdered sugar kind.

But donuts are not the only guilty food on the list of the worst foods we can put in our bodies, at the top of the list along side donuts is Cotton Candy and Soda.  Oh yeah, you think you have trouble remembering things now, like I do, just keep drinking diet soda and drinks with aspartame.

The length of our life span will exceed the length of our childrens if we don’t start elimanting these foods from their diet.  I for one will have a struggle giving up the indulgence of a morning donut, and I’m sure if we all stopped eating donuts, dunkin donuts would have to close their doors or find a new way of making their delious confections.  Perhaps with wheat flour, fresh berries, and a little bit of coconut oil for sweetness.

Today, put down your donut and challenge those around you to do the same.  Let’s see if your kids can’t beat the statistics and live a longer life than the generation before them.

Tomorrow, I’ll share with you the 12 best foods we can add to our diets pass on good nutritional health to others.
